Description
Nerve damage or diabetic neuropathy resulting from chronically high blood sugar can be one of the most frustrating and debilitating complications of diabetes because of the pain, discomfort and disability it can cause, and because available treatments are not uniformly successful. Methylcobalamin is the coenzyme form of vitamin B12.
It has exhibited beneficial effects against brain ageing, irregular sleep patterns and reducing high homocysteine serum levels. Methylcobalamin increases myelination of the neurons.
Supplemental Chromium as Chromium picolinate improved the blood glucose, insulin, cholesterol, and hemoglobin A1C in people with Type 2 DM in a dose dependent manner.
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) is essential for glucose metabolism. Niacin is important to provide energy for proper nerve functioning.
Pyridoxine is needed for the formation of the myelin sheath and Folic acid is required for the proper metabolism of the essential amino acid methionine.
Hence MECOBION OD consists of all the ingredients which are required for the proper function and maintenance of the degenerated neurons.
Number of clinical studies confirmed its effectiveness for the treatment of different kinds of neuropathy.
