Pain is a complex phenomena involving both peripheral and central mechanism. The combination of aceclofenac with paracetamol (Acenac-P) gives complete relief from pain and associated inflammation by counter acting both central and peripheral mechanisms. Aceclofenac can counteract peripheral inflammation by blocking COX-2 enzyme and paracetamol block the central effects of prostaglandin by blocking COX-3 enzyme in brain. This combination offers faster and longer duration of action with least incidence of GI side-effects. It works hard on pain, hardly on stomach.
