
Description
Domperidone is an antiemetic & prokinetic agent. Unlike metoclopramide, it does not cross blood brain barrier and is devoid of CNS side effects.
Indications
Reflux esophagitis
Nausea and vomiting
Dyspepsia
Co-prescription with Antiulcerant
Composition
Each Dispersible tablet contains:
Domperidone - B.P. 10 mg
Dosage
One to two tablets three to four times daily, half an hour before meals and at bed times.
The dose of Domperidone in infants is 0.2 – 0.4 mg/kg body weight, 3-4 times a day.
Side Effects
Motinorm is very well tolerated; sometimes dry mouth, itching, headache, thirst and diarrhea.
Contraindication
Pregnancy and hypersensitivity.

Motinorm DT is available as a strip of 10 tablets.
