Etizolam is a benzodiazepine analogue. Etizolam has a reduced liability to induce tolerance and dependence compared with classical benzodiazepines like Diazepam,Alprazolam.

Anxiety Disorders
Anxiety Associated with IBS, Hypertension.
Short term treatment of insomnia
Composition
Each film-coated tablet contains :
 

Etizolam
0.25 mg
Etizolam
0.5 mg




Side Effects
Mild to moderate day time drowsiness, Muscle weakness, In coordination, Headache, Confusion.
Dosage and Administration
For anxiety : 0.25 – 1 mg two or three times per day (maximum 3 mg per day)
For insomnia: 0.5–1 mg before bedtime.
Presentation
Etimed 0.25/0.5 is available as a strip of 10 tablets.
